I'm taking a much needed break from the internet world. Life is too short to spend it in front of a computer monitor. There's playgrounds to explore, kisses and hugs to cherish, unfortunately laundry to be washed, souls to be elated.
"You" know I love you, and I'll most probably still be a lurker. I feel though as if I've lost touch with the everyday grind, and I need to get back on it. I need to become a producer, and less of a passive consumer. My children and my husband need me to be there for and with them, every step of the way. How can I do that if I'm so preoccupied with responding to forums, sending plants on Facebook, and setting up my line-up on Fantasy Baseball daily?
So, ta-ta internet world, for now. It's been... real?

I got one last week, and I have to tell you, it felt good to do other things. I'm going to try to keep up without being sucked in.

I completely understand...I really do. After a few days away in SF on vacation, I didn't miss it a BIT! Well, I missed my friends, but I didn't miss the compulsion to keep "checking", if you know what I mean. I hope your periodic lurking allows us to stay in touch...I think you are fantastically smart, witty, kind, and all good things... I'm glad to have met you through this forum, so don't stay away TOO much...
OH I HEAR YA! When you come back find me on F.B...my latest addiction! I should be doing what you are doing. Instead I'm sending Jelly Shoes from the 80's to my friends LOL!!!
